Food Bank

"For I was hungry and you gave me food."  Matthew 25:36

Heritage Christian Center is dedicated to meeting the sustenance needs of the people in our community.  Founded 20 years ago, the Heritage Christian Center food bank was our first form of outreach.

The food bank was founded for the purpose of helping families and individuals who are in need.  Hundreds of thousands---if not millions---of pounds of food has been passed out to needy families.  This ministry is staffed with loving volunteers who diligently prepare more than 350 food bags each week.  We give out food on Sundays after our morning services and on Wednesdays after our evening service.  Our desire is to touch the hurting and change their tomorrow, today.  If you need food assistance, please come to one of our Sunday morning services to see if you qualify for assistance.

Clothing Bank "For I was naked and you clothed me." Matthew 25:36 The Clothes Closet at Heritage Christian Center reaches out to anyone in need of clothes, shoes, children toys, or basic household items. Each week, volunteers gather donated items to be given to those that come because of their physical needs.  Through prayer and encouragement, many of these people leave with renewed hope and faith in Jesus Christ.
